Thank you to Baseline Performance for the donation of $1,000 for the BRHC Palliative Care Unit, in memory of Bill Osadchuk. Bill was a Brandon engine builder and long time drag racer whose dream was to have a race track in Rivers.
Baseline Drag Races were held over two weekends in July and September for race car enthusiasts. Thank you to everyone who supported these racing weekends and made this donation possible.

Peace by Piece Quilt Guild
Thank you to the Peace by Piece Quilt Guild for their donation of $1,724.06, proceeds from their 2019 “Party of Four” quilt raffle. This beautiful quilt was made and donated by the members of the Guild with the long arm quilting done by Margaret White. The draw, performed at the Guild’s annual quilt show on October 5th, was won by Renata Kipta of Slave Lake, AB.
The donation was placed in the Foundation’s Identified Needs Fund where it will accumulate with others for the purchase of equipment at the BRHC. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported this unique fundraiser.

Shilo & Region Service Club
The 2nd Annual Shilo & Region Service Club’s Charity Open Golf Tournament was held on September 7th at the Shilo Golf & Country Club, with proceeds designated for equipment for the Pediatric Unit at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. From all reports, a great day of golf, fun, and good food was enjoyed by everyone, and $3,500 was raised!

The Pinkest Owl 2019 Proceeds
The Foundation is "tickled pink" to announce that $5,000 has been received for the Western MB Cancer Centre, proceeds from the 2019 Pinkest Owl Golf Tournament held June 8 at the Glen Lea Golf Course. The donation will be used to purchase a treatment chair and waiting room furniture. Thank you to the organizers, sponsors, and supporters for making the tournament a success!
